Yükselen Çelik enters the European market

Yükselen Çelik, one of Turkey's leading special steel producers, aims to expand its export activities in the European market by entering the German market after the US.

Yükselen Çelik enters the European market

In addition to increasing its recognition in international markets and expanding its field of activity, the company aims to increase its export revenue and the share of exports in total sales. For this purpose, the company established a wholly-owned subsidiary named Rising Stahl GmbH in Düsseldorf, Germany.

It is rumoured that this subsidiary will first start its operations as a European sales office and will have warehouse/storage areas to stock products in time. If deemed necessary, a steel service centre or metal processing plant will also be established in the future. Yükselen Çelik aims to sell its products from its subsidiary in Düsseldorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and other EU countries.

Yükselen Çelik's establishment procedures are planned to be completed by the end of 2023 and its operations will commence in the first half of 2024 at the latest. As of the second half of 2024, Yükselen Çelik is expected to have a positive impact on export and transit trade activities.
