The Netherlands based subsidiary of Yıldırım Holding has acquired Euronickel Industries, the largest nickel company in North Macedonia, and the Nova Rekrater plant for approximately €40 million.
One of the local lenders in North Macedonia, Komercijalna Banka, announced through the Macedonian Stock Exchange that the bankrupt ferronickel company Euronickel Industries has been sold to the Netherlands company Polynickel Holding BV, a subsidiary of the Turkish Yıldırım Group.
At the same time, the bank signed an agreement with the Yıldırım Group for the sale of the property of the Nova Refractory factory in Pehchevo.
The Turkish company Yıldırım Holding, through its Netherlands subsidiary Polynickel Holding, will become the new owner of Euronickel. As part of this agreement, Komerecjalna Bank announced the sale of FENI's properties to Yildirim Holding for 31.3 million euros and the Nova Refacter plant in Pehchevo for 8.7 million euros.
All legal and regulatory preconditions must remain to be fulfilled for the final realization of the purchase agreement.
