According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), between January and November 2022, wire rod exports in Turkey decreased by 14% y-o-y to 1.13 million tons.
Israel, Turkey's country to which it exports the most wire rods, reached 265,300 tons in the first eleven months of 2022 with an increase of 5%. Turkey's wire rod exports to Romania increased to 124,500 tons. Senegal was among the countries that increased with 73,000 tons, Morocco with 51,200 tons and Canada with 51,100 tons.
In November 2022, Turkey's wire rod exports down by more than 50% annually. It decreased to 54,600 tonnes, down by 22% from the previous month.
Wire rod export offers, which were 680-690 USD per ton last month, are in the range of 740-750 FOB per ton.
