U.S. wire rod imports increased m-o-m, decreased y-o-y

In February of this year, the United States' import of wire rod was approximately 70,200 tons, with an increase of 1% compared to January but a decrease of 31% compared to February of 2022.

Imports from Canada ranked first

The import from Canada was approximately 25,000 tons, the import from China was approximately 14,000 tons, the import from Brazil was 9,900 tons, and the import from Germany was 860 tons.

The import value decreased

During this period, the import value was approximately 67 million US dollars, decreasing by 9.8% on a monthly basis and 31% on an annual basis.
