Despite the yearly decline, week-over-week production saw a slight increase. For the week ending October 5, production was 1,606,000 net tons, with a capability utilization rate of 72,3%. This marks a 0,9% increase in production for the week ending October 12.
Year-to-date production through October 12, reached 69,438,000 net tons, with a capability utilization rate of 76,5%. This is a 1,7% decrease compared to the same period in 2023, when total production was 70,673,000 net tons and the capability utilization rate was 76,4%.
