US standard pipe imports increase in March

In March 2023, US imports of standard pipe totaled about 68,000 tons, increased by 21.4% m-o-m and decreased by 17% y-o-y.

Imports from Canada were about 16,700 tons, from the UAE about 11,700 tons, from Thailand about 8,200 tons, from South Korea about 7,200 tons and from Mexico about 5,700 tons.

The value of imports in this period increased by 20.2% on a monthly basis and decreased by 30.3% on an annual basis to approximately USD 88 million.
