US rebar imports fell in July

In July of this year, US rebar imports fell slightly by 28% on a monthly basis and by 0.6% on an annual basis to around 140,000 tons.

Imports from Egypt amounted to about 52,000 tons, Algeria to 23,000 tons, Mexico to 16,800 tons and Spain to 15,900 tons.

The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 94 million.
