The US exported approximately 16,100 tons of rebar in October this year, increasing by 21.4% compared to the previous month and decreasing by 11% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Among these, exports to Canada had the largest share at around 11,000 tons, up 12.7% month on month and down 24.6% year on year. The Dominican Republic was also an important destination, importing approximately 3,700 tons of rebar from the USA during this period.
The value created by these exports was approximately USD 16 million, up 14.6% month on month and down 14.2% year on year.
