US Department of Commerce reports a slight increase in drawn wire exports in May, with a 0.6% increase compared to the previous month and a 3% decrease from the year-ago period.
Mexico's exports accounted for the largest proportion, with 2,900 tons, a 2.6% increase and 7.1% year-on-year hike. Canada followed closely with 2,700 tons, while other countries' exports were less than 1,000 tons. The total value of the exports was approximately $20 million, down by 1.5% month on month and up by 8.1% y-o-y.
