Ukraine's scrap exports increased significantly

Ukrainian enterprises significantly increased their scrap exports in January.

Ukraine's scrap exports increased significantly

In 2022, exports of ferrous metal scrap from Ukraine declined 11 times.

However, exports increased by 45.5% to 8,000 tons in January, according to statistics released by the country's Customs Service.

Almost all of the scrap metal exports were made to Poland (95.68%), with a small amount to Slovakia (2.58%) and Germany (1.1%). Ukraine, on the other hand, did not import scrap this year.
