Türkiye's steel bar exports increased by 40% in February

SteelRadar compiled data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and reported that Türkiye's steel bar exports in February 2024 increased by 40% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 287,758 tons to 325,747 tons.

The figure increased by 13.2% compared to the previous month, January.

The total steel bar exports for the January-February period increased by 8.9% to 563,413 tons from 613,505 tons a year earlier.

Leading country to which Türkiye exported steel bars in February was Romania with 44,120.8 tons, followed by Israel with 31,307.7 tons, Yemen with 31,183.3 tons, Ethiopia with 27,023.1 tons and Peru with 26,152 tons.
