According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade data, the value of Türkiye's iron and steel exports in September was 948.98 million USD, an increase of 16.2% compared to the same month last year.
In that month, the value of iron and steel exports ranked seventh in the list of products with the highest export value in the country.
In January-September period of this year, it decreased by 12.1% y-o-y to 7.8 billion USD.
In that month, the export value of iron or steel products ranked ninth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value.
In September, the value of exports of iron or steel products decreased by 6.4% y-o-y to 851.04 million USD, while in the first nine months of the year it decreased by 27.4% yoy to 7.3 billion USD.
