According to the information compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the preliminary foreign trade data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) and the Undersecretariat of Customs, Türkiye's iron and steel export value in March increased by 9.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching $894.58 million.
In the month in question, iron and steel export value ranked eighth in the list of products with the highest export value of the country.
In the same month, the export value of iron or steel goods, which ranks fifth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value, decreased by 0.5% annually to $946.45 million.
While the total export value of iron and steel in the January-March period increased by 19.1% compared to the same period last year, reaching $2.48 billion, the export value of iron and steel goods decreased by 0.2% annually, reaching $2.49 billion.
