According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs' preliminary foreign trade data, the value of Türkiye's iron and steel exports in February 2025 decreased by 6% compared to the same month last year to USD 830.8 million.
In this month, the export value of iron and steel ranked seventh in the list of products with the highest export value.
In the January-February period of 2025, iron and steel export value increased by 2.59% compared to the same period of the previous year, from USD 1.58 billion to USD 1.62 billion.
During the month in question, the export value of iron and steel products ranked ninth in the list of the country's products with the highest export value.
In February, the export value of iron or steel products decreased by 14.2% y/y to USD 694.4 million, while in January-February 2025, it decreased by 8% y/y to USD 1.42 billion.
