According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's flat steel exports increased by 63.8% in February 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year, increasing from 215,663 tons to 353,284 tons. It increased by 4.3% compared to the previous month.
2024 January-February total exports increased by 75.6% compared to the same period of the previous year, increasing from 394,180 tons to 692,177 tons.
Türkiye's top flat steel export destination in February was Italy with an increase of 97.7%, followed by Greece with 99.3%, Egypt with 11%, Ukraine with 60.2% and Romania with 42.1%.
