According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's July 2024 ferro-alloy imports increased by 80.2% on an annual basis, increasing from 39,803 tons to 71,711 tons.
This figure decreased by 1.3% compared to the previous month of June.
Total ferro-alloy imports in the January-July period increased by 21.4% on a yearly basis, increasing from 278,130 tons to 337,756 tons.
In the mentioned period, Georgia was the leading ferro-alloy importing country with 28,667.9 tons, followed by Ukraine with 10,197.4 tons and Iran with 8,377.3 tons.
