According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's January 2025 ferro alloy imports decreased by 17.3% y/y from 40,717 tons to 33,690 tons. This figure increased by 1.3% compared to the previous month, December.
In January, India was the leading importer of ferro alloy with 8,082 tons, followed by Georgia with 6,534 tons, Iran with 4,679 tons, Norway with 4,022 tons and China with 2,843 tons.
