Türkiye's billet imports decreased by 13% in June compared to the previous month, according to data released by the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TÇÜD).
Thus, Türkiye's billet imports decreased by 16% in June compared to the same month of the previous year, from 328 thousand tonnes to 277 thousand tonnes.
In the first month of the year, Türkiye's billet imports increased by 69% compared to the same month of the previous year, increasing from 202 thousand tonnes to 342 thousand tonnes.
