Through the information compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TUIK) data, Turkey's direct reduced iron (DRI) imports in September increased by 92,8% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 56,188 tons to 108,323 tons.
There was an increase of 89,2% compared to the previous month, August.
Total DRI imports between January and September increased by 36,5%, from 486 thousand 152 tons to 663 thousand 618 tons.
Türkiye imported the most DRI from Russia in the month with 51,415 tons, followed by Venezuela with 49,907 tons and Uzbekistan with 7,000 tons.
