Türkiye’s CRC imports decreased by 18.5% in the January-April period

Türkiye’s 2024 April CRC imports decreased annually by 7.2% and monthly by 9.8%.

According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye’s April 2024 cold-rolled coil (CRC) imports decreased by 7.2% compared to the same month of the previous year, falling from 66,359 tons to 61,568 tons.Compared to the previous month of March, a decrease of 9.8% was observed.

Total CRC imports in the January-April period also decreased by 18.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, declining from 267,544 tons to 218,172 tons.


South Korea leads the countries from which Türkiye imported the most CRC in April, with 25,443 tons, followed by Russia with 15,335 tons, Spain with 3,613 tons, Egypt with 3,537 tons, and Belgium with 3,517 tons.
