Tosyalı Holding deepens relations with the world's largest steel producer

Strengthening its position in global steel production with its investments in Turkey, Algeria, Senegal and Angola and its collaborations with American and Japanese giants, Tosyalı Holding continues to develop collaborations with stakeholders that will create value in different countries.

Tosyalı Holding recently concluded its negotiations for Strategic Cooperation with China Baowu Steel Group, the world's largest steel producer, and took another step towards sustainable growth.

This co-operation will make a strategic contribution to Tosyalı Holding's growth strategy and new investments in world markets, pave the way for the co-operation of the two companies in different markets, and create strategic opportunities for the investments that Tosyalı plans to make in different parts of the world, especially in Africa after Algeria.

Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı: "We will continue our global growth with value-creating collaborations"

Fuat Tosyalı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tosyalı Holding, who recently met with Chen Derong, Chairman of Baowu Group, said: "While we continue to grow with our sustainability-oriented, advanced technology and high value-added investments in the iron and steel industry, we continue to expand our cooperation abroad within the scope of our global growth vision. We attach importance to such collaborations for a more stable and sustainable growth. In this sense, this strategic partnership with China Baowu Steel Group, with which we have been working together in different projects for many years, is very valuable for us. As you know, we currently have investments in Algeria, Angola and Senegal, and I believe that with this cooperation, we will further strengthen our investments in these countries and especially in the Gulf region. We will continue to expand our collaborations in order to achieve the global targets we have set and continue to contribute to the economy of our country."

Stating that they look forward to expanding their cooperation with Tosyalı Holding with a win-win approach, Baowu Group President Chen Derong said, "We are extremely happy to deepen our cooperation with Tosyalı Holding. I believe that this co-operation will be very beneficial for both parties."

Tosyalı Holding has been successfully cooperating with Sinosteel Engineering & Technology Co. for more than two decades. Tosyalı, which commissioned the world's largest DRI module at its plant in Algeria, also worked with Sinosteel in this process.

Tosyalı Holding, one of the world's leading green steel producers, will further expand its new generation green steel investments by combining its experience in green steel production with the power of Baowu Group with this strategic cooperation with Baowu Group.
