Tosçelik Spiral Boru, one of the successful companies within Tosyalı Holding, continues to stand out with its supply of spiral-welded steel pipes for international projects.
With its international experience, Tosçelik Spiral Boru has become the steel pipe supplier for the Black Sea Coast-Podișor Natural Gas Pipeline Project, which is managed by Romania's state-owned company Transgaz.
Tosçelik Spiral Boru will deliver a total of 102,000 tons of steel pipes with ISO 3183 PSL2 production standard and L415NE PSL2 steel quality, ranging from 813-1219 mm in diameter, within one year. The length of the steel pipe line, undertaken by Tosçelik Spiral Boru's production, will be 306.5 km.
The Black Sea Coast-Podișor Gas Pipeline is located in southeastern Romania. Its route extends from the southeast to the west, passing through the counties of Constanța, Călărași, and Giurgiu in Romania. The pipeline, with a capacity exceeding 12 billion cubic meters annually, is expected to meet approximately 45% of Romania's gas consumption. The project, which is of critical importance for Europe's energy security, is planned to connect with the Bulgaria-Romania-Hungary-Austria (BRUA) Gas Pipeline in Podișor.
