German steelmaker Thyssenkrupp has announced that it will establish a new unit called Decarbon Technologies. The new unit will be responsible for the energy transition and will provide full visibility into its extensive capacities for green transformation.
The new unit consists of thyssenKrupp rothe erde, thyssenKrupp nucera, and the Uhde and Polysius businesses, which respectively own key technologies for the decarbonization of industry. These companies will be merged into the new unit from October 1.
