The U.S.A. Department of Commerce released construction spending data for October.
Accordingly, construction expenditures in the country increased by 0.2 percent compared to the previous month in October and amounted to $1.59 trillion.
Construction expenditures, which rose below market expectations, were expected to increase by 0.4 percent in this period. Construction expenditures decreased by 0.1 percent in September.
In the said period, private sector construction projects decreased by 0.2 percent, while public construction expenditures increased by 1.8 percent.
Construction expenditures increased by 8.6 percent on an annual basis.
