According to data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), rebar exports from the US in November of the previous year reached approximately 28,000 tons. This represented a 6% decline compared to the previous month but marked a significant 59% increase from the same month a year ago.
Notably, the largest share of these exports went to Canada, amounting to roughly 18,300 tons. This reflected a marginal 0.32% increase compared to the previous month and a substantial 62.6% surge on a year-on-year basis.
In terms of value, these rebar exports generated around US$16 million. Although this indicated an 11.4% decrease compared to the previous month, it represented a notable 29.4% increase from the same month in the previous year.
