Igor Demin, Advisor to the President of the Russian state oil shipping company Transeft, told reporters that unplanned maintenance will be carried out on the Belarusian part of the Drujba pipeline.
Stating that there will be restrictions on oil shipments from the line due to maintenance, Demin said, "Maintenance will take three days for the pipeline that delivers to Poland via Belarus." Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, in a statement on November 11, stated that they could stop natural gas shipments to Europe via Belarus due to the tensions with the West.
