The increase in the price of Iranian steel sections in new year

The end of the recession in consumer industries such as the construction industry and the start of government construction projects are among the reasons that will increase the price of steel sections in 2024.

It is definitely not possible to accurately predict this volatile market, but still, according to various factors, we can make a rough prediction. Restrictions on energy sources such as electricity and natural gas, continued economic sanctions and disruptions in financial circulation, the negative trend of economic growth and the increase in the price of raw materials were all factors that caused us to witness a stagnation in the domestic market in 2023.

Looking with foresight, increasing in people's purchasing power and the end of the recession in consumer industries such as the construction sector and the start of government construction projects are the main reasons. Additionally, it is expected a proble increase of steel profile prices in 2024.
