The end of the year for EU quotas! China, India and Türkiye kept their leadership ranking

Although countries have generally been cautious in fully utilizing their EU quotas, the performance of China, India and Türkiye is particularly noteworthy, according to SteelRadar's weekly analysis.

China has been the leader in quota utilization, successfully filling its quotas set since October. China fully utilized its quotas of 127,995 tons of 4B metallic coated sheet, 6,987 tons of sheet piles, 8,058 tons of welded pipes and 38,319 tons of seamless pipes.

India performed impressively by fully utilizing its quotas of 31,678 tons of stainless bars and light sections, 5,870 tons of stainless seamless tubes and 78,453 tons of organic coated sheet.

Meanwhile, Türkiye fully utilized its initial quota of 1,554 tons in railway materials and successfully filled its quota of 97,859 tons in hollow sections. With 14,905 tons of Pipe (Wide Welded), Türkiye has a strong profile in quota utilization.
