The country's largest iron ore concentrate factory started operations in Iran's Kurdistan region

The iron ore reserve discovered in the Qorveh mine in the Kurdistan region of Iran is 18 million tons, and a project investment of 7500 billion divisions has been made in this region.

The country's largest iron ore concentrate factory started operations in Iran's Kurdistan region

SabaNour Mining and Industry Company invested in the steel chain in the Kurdistan region of western Iran. It was announced that the company drilled more than 60,000 meters in the past year and discovered a total of 80 million tons of iron ore reserves.

The iron ore reserve discovered in the Qorveh mine in the Kurdistan region of Iran is 18 million tons, and a project investment of 7500 billion divisions has been made in this region. The Qorveh iron ore concentrate factory project was initiated by Saba Noor Mining and Industry Company. The annual production capacity of the project investment amounting to 7500 billion divisions is planned to be 2 million tons.

“This industrial unit will be the largest iron ore concentrate plant in the west of the country,” said Dr. Ardeshir Saad mohammadi, CEO of Mines and Metals Development Investment Company.

According to the plans, this factory will reach the operational stage in October 1404 (October 2025) with the date of Iran.
