Electric car maker Tesla made a rapid entry into China, the world's largest and fastest growing market, early last year, and built its first manufacturing plant outside the US in Shanghai.
Tesla has been making huge investments in China in recent years. Receiving the return of these investments with the new year, the US company recently brought Model Y vehicles produced in China to Europe.
In the reports announced by the China Passenger Car Association, Tesla announced that it produced 32 thousand 968 cars in July and 44 thousand 264 cars in August. In addition, more than 52 thousand of these cars were exported.
It was reflected in the photos that the production from Tesla Giga Shanghai continues at full speed, and the parking lot is about to run out, although there are dozens of vehicle carriers.
It is stated that in the first 10 months of this year, Tesla produced approximately 350 thousand electric cars at its Model 3 and Model Y factory in China. At the end of the year, this number may increase to 500 thousand vehicles.
Tesla's Shanghai factory operates as a major export hub, mostly for markets near Europe and China. More than 70 percent of the cars produced are exported to the European and Asian markets.
