Taiwan's welded steel pipe trade surges in March

According to data provided by Taiwan’s customs, welded steel pipe exports in March surged by 35% compared to the previous month, reaching approximately 32,000 tons

The primary export destination was the United States, accounting for around 24,000 tons, followed by Canada with approximately 1,800 tons, Australia with approximately 1,500 tons and Thailand with approximately 1,100 tons.

In contrast, imports experienced a significant increase of 71% month-on-month, totaling about 5,200 tons. Notably, South Korea and Vietnam were the top two import sources, contributing around 2,000 tons and 1,900 tons, respectively.
