Taiwan's welded steel pipe exports in April totaled about 22,000 tons, down 30% from the previous month, according to Taiwan's customs data.
The top export destination was the United States with about 16,000 tons, followed by Canada with about 1,6000 tons, Australia with about 1,400 tons, and Thailand with about 1,000 tons.
In contrast, imports increased by 94% compared to the previous month, reaching around 10,000 tons. Vietnam and South Korea in particular stood out as the two largest sources of imports, contributing around 4,900 tons and 4,100 tons, respectively.
