On February 18, 2025, the Trade Remedy Commission under Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs announced that the revocation of anti-dumping duties on Chinese and South Korean CRCs may result in injury to the domestic industry or the continuation of previous injury.
The products under review are the SUS 300 series, consisting mainly of SUS301, 304, 304L, 316, 316L and 321. Since August 15, 2013, Taiwan's Ministry of Finance has been imposing anti-dumping duties on these products originating from China and South Korea, and the first assessment concluded that lifting the duties would be detrimental to the domestic industry. This assessment reached the same conclusion.
Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs will forward the new assessments to Taiwan's Ministry of Finance, which will make the final decision on the continuation of the anti-dumping duties on China and South Korea. The injury investigation report, in Chinese, will be available on the website of the Taiwan International Trade Administration after March 18, 2025.
