At the 9th EFRS International Iron and Steel Symposium held on June 6-7, companies aiming for sustainable steel and strong tomorrows came together. Among them, Sky Minerals, which has maintained its pioneering position in the refractory-casting sector for several years, participated in the symposium where SteelRadar had the opportunity to meet with the company's General Manager Tuğçe Cihan Yağcı and Sales Director Göktuğ Salih Şentürk.
Tuğçe Cihan Yağcı highlighted that Sky Minerals provides quality solutions tailored to the needs of iron and steel foundries with raw materials sourced from its own mines, emphasizing that they develop solutions suitable for the sector's needs by combining their experienced team, researchers, and innovative spirit.
Göktuğ Salih Şentürk pointed out that, apart from working with companies such as Tosçelik, Çolakoğlu Metalurji, Kroman Demir Çelik, and İDÇ in Türkiye, they have expanded internationally in their upcoming projects and are intensively working in their R&D offices according to customer demands.
Şentürk also added that they have made significant investments in limestone production, stating, "We will produce 500 tons of dolomitic limestone daily in Bozüyük, Bilecik limestone plant which we will activate at the beginning of the next year"
