It is reported that Russian bank Sberbank will provide a loan of $ 800 million for the construction of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NGS).

In the statement, it was shared that Sberbank will provide a new loan to Rosatom's subsidiary Akkuyu Nuclear AŞ. expression was used.

The agreement regarding Akkuyu NPP, which will be Turkey's first nuclear power plant, was signed with Russia in 2010. The power plant to be built in Akkuyu will consist of 4 reactors and will have a total installed capacity of 4,800 megawatts. The first reactor is expected to go into operation in 2023.
