Russian scrap prices will continue to decline

The Russian scrap steel market experienced a change in price trends in April. Although the price increased slightly in the first week of April compared to the last week of March, the scrap price started to decrease gradually from the second week.
From the third week of April, the decrease amounted to 500 rubles per week.

At the end of April, 3A scrap CPT Ural amounted to 28,760 rubles without VAT.
The average value of 3A scrap CPT Ural for April is 29,520 rubles without VAT.

In the coming weeks, Russian scrap prices will continue to decline at a rate of about 500 rubles without VAT per week.
