The price increase affected the rebar (A3, A500C) the most by +5.5%.
The new rise in rebar prices is most likely due to the rise in scrap prices since the beginning of July - prices for this type of raw material have grown by 8% over the past month, and a weak ruble could also play a role.
Most likely, the current growth is associated with a seasonal revival in the construction sector, which traditionally shows an increased demand for rebar in the warm months. However, given that global steel prices continue to be under great pressure, we can't expect a strong increase in prices for steel products in the Russian domestic market.
