Russia earns less than expected from oil and gas exports

The Russian Ministry of Finance reported that the Russian budget in April generated 133 billion rubles less than expected from oil and natural gas exports.

In a written statement made by the Ministry of Finance of Russia, it was stated that oil prices were above the prices based on the budget.

In the statement, it was noted that additional revenues from oil and gas exports are expected to reach 414 billion rubles (approximately $6.3 billion) in May.

In the statement, which was informed that the budget was 133 billion rubles (approximately 2 billion dollars) less revenue than expected in April, it was stated that the total additional income is expected to be 281 billion rubles in April-May.

Reminding that the Russian government made some changes in the budget rules this year, it was pointed out that foreign currency and gold purchases would not be made with additional budget revenues.
