Russia cut gold production by 2.5% in January

Compared to December 2024, the decline was 43%. At the same time, Rosstat does not provide absolute values ​​for the production of precious metal.

Since 2022, Russia has not published statistics on gold production. According to the Ministry of Finance, 313.8 tons were produced in 2021. In 2022, production increased by 2.4%, and in 2023, it decreased by 2.5%. In 2024, production increased by 5.3% compared to the previous year, reaching approximately 330 tons.
