Robust expansion in Esfahan Steel's iron smelting output during Q2 and Q3 2023

In the second and third quarters of 2023, iron smelting production in Esfahan Steel saw significant growth across various categories. Cast iron production increased by 4% compared to the previous year and exceeded this year's plan by 7%. Coke production also grew by 3% compared to the same period last year. Agglomerate production shocokwed a 2% increase compared to the previous year and exceeded the plan by 5%.

Esfahan Iron Smelter's billet production increased by 6% compared to the previous year and surpassed the production plan by 5%. Final product output exceeded expectations, with an 8% increase compared to the same period last year.

The production of beams experienced a remarkable 18% increase compared to the previous year, exceeding the plan by 14%. Notably, the production of rails increased fivefold compared to the same period last year, marking a substantial achievement in the industry.
