Payas rebar prices, which had been rising rapidly last week, fell by $11 today.

Rebar prices decreased in Iskenderun / Payas region in Turkey

Rebar prices in Turkey's steel markets decreased on a dollar-denominated basis, with the USD exchange rate trading around 20.88.

Producer prices continued to be priced in the $650-660 range, while rebar prices were mostly flat in spot markets as demand slowed, but rebar prices in the Iskenderun/Payas region fell sharply.

Payas rebar prices increased sharply on Wednesday last week due to expectations of a hike in the exchange rate. Rebar prices decreased today due to lower demand from sellers who increased their stock levels.

Current spot rebar prices evaluated by www.steelradar.com are as follows;

Istanbul rebar prices 16,200 TL (0.00) / $658 (-2)

Izmir rebar prices 16.050 TL (0,00) / $654 (-3)

Karabuk rebar prices 16.000 TL (0,00) / 649$ (-3)

Payas rebar prices 16.000 TL (-200) / 660$ (-11)
