Quotas for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2023 announced in EU steel quotas

According to data obtained from official sources by the SteelRadar team, EU third and fourth quarter quotas were analyzed by country.

For India,

The lowest quota in India is reserved for Seamless Stainless Tubes and Pipes. The latest quota for the product group, which filled up quickly in the middle of the second quarter of the year, was 5,870/t.

The quota amount of 7,368/t for Stainless Wire Rod was increased compared to the beginning of the second quarter.

While a quota of 30,710/t is reserved for Stainless HR Quarto Plate,

The quotas for Stainless Bars and Light Sections opened at the beginning of the second quarter of the year were quickly filled. The last announced quota amount was 31,678/t.

In India, the highest quota amount was allocated to the sheet metal group.

Angles quotas for 4A Metallic Coated Sheets filled quickly at the beginning of the second quarter. The newly determined quota amount was announced as 53,542/t.

Although the quotas opened for 4B Metallic Coated Sheets were slow at the beginning of the second quarter, the newly announced quota amount was increased to 76,448/t.

The newly determined quota for Organic Coated Sheets was announced as 78,453.

Quotas for CRC were announced at 162.808/t, increasing by 7,540/t compared to the beginning of the second quarter.

For HRC, which is the product with the highest quota, 284,105/t quota was allocated in the last quarter. The new amount determined for HRC was increased by 13,795/t and announced as 297,900/t.


In UK quotas,

Although the minimum quota amount cannot be explained as 859/t for Stainless HR Quarto Plate,

At the beginning of the second quarter, 896/t quota was determined for the Sheet Piling, which was stagnant.

A quota amount of 1,866/t was determined for Seamless Stainless Tubes and Pipes, and the quota amount was increased by 87/t compared to the beginning of the second quarter.

A quota of 3,816/t was opened for Stainless Wire Rod, resulting in a quota increase of 177/t compared to the beginning of the second quarter.

A quota of 4,629/t has been set aside for Stainless Bars and Light Sections.

For Railway Materials, a quota of 5,099/t was determined by increasing the quota of 236/t compared to the beginning of the second quarter.

In the quotas opened for China,

The lowest quota capacity was determined as 922/t for Seamless Stainless Tubes and Pipes. Next;

At the beginning of the second quarter, a quota of 1.503/t was determined for Railway Materials, which was moving at a very fast pace.

1.606/t for Stainless Wire Rod,

4.907/t for Stainless HR Quarto Plate,

A quota amount of 6.987/t was determined for Sheet piling.

Quotas for Other Welved Pipes were half full at the start of the second quarter. The newly announced quota amount was 8,058/t.

While 26.863/t quota was opened for Cold Finished Bars,

The new quota amount announced for 3B Electrical Sheets, which quickly filled the 29,453/t quota opened at the beginning of the second quarter, was 30,884/t.

Likewise, the amount determined for Pipe (Other Seamless), which filled quickly at the beginning of the second quarter, was 38,319/t and 140,020/t for Merchant Bars and Light Sections.

The new quota for Non Alloy Wire was announced as 78,820/t, with an increase of 3,650/t compared to the beginning of the second quarter.

The quota amount determined for 4B Metallic Coated Sheets was announced as 127.995/t.


In the quotas opened for South Korea,

The newly determined quota amount for 3A Electrical Sheets, which had a very slow course at the beginning of the second quarter, was announced as 253/t. Next;

1.155/t for Seamless Stainless Tubes and Pipes,

2.372/t for Stainless Wire Rod,

35.118/t for 3B Electrical Sheets,

37,457/t for 4A Metallic Coated Sheets,

And finally, 186.030/t quota amount was announced for HRC, which has the highest quota amount.


In quotas for Switzerland,

4.557/t for Stainless Bars and Light Sections,

16,027/t for Hollow Sections,

42,092/t forCold Finished Bars,

47.995/t for Other Welved Pipes,

67,991/t for Merchant Bars and Light Sections

And 135,218/t quota amount was determined for Wire Rod.


In quotas for Taiwan,

While a quota of 4,750/t was opened for Stainless Wire Rod;

8.994/t for Other Welved Pipes,

22.724/t for Organic Coated Sheets,

24,154/t for 3B Electrical Sheets and

At the beginning of the second quarter, the quota amount of 45,948/t was determined for the Stainless HR Quarto Plate, which quickly filled half its capacity.

 

In quotas for Japan,

A quota of 1.594/t for Seamless Stainless Tubes and Pipes and 1.074/t for Stainless Wire Rod was determined.

In the quotas opened for the UAE,

There was no amount used for Sheet piling at the beginning of the second quarter. The newly determined quota for Sheet piling was 3,458/t.

 

In the quotas opened for Iran,

At the beginning of the second quarter, 158/t quota for 3A Electrical Sheets was not used, and the quotas were very slow. The newly announced amount took its place as 165/t.


In the quotas opened for Macedonia,

A quota of 28,994/t has been allocated for Hollow Sections.

 

In the quotas opened for Moldova,

The newly determined quota for Rebar was 28,333/t, while it was 69,056/t for Wire Rod.

 

In the quotas opened for Serbia,

While 41.104/t quota was determined for CRC, 165.148/t was determined for HRC.

 

In the quotas opened for Bosnia and Herzegovina,

33.900/t quota was opened for Rebar.


In the quotas opened for South Africa,

A quota of 1,425/t for Stainless HR Quarto Sheet and 26.723/t for Stainless Cold Rolled Sheets and Strips has been announced.

 

In the quotas opened for the USA,

A quota of 24,986/t for Stainless HR Quarto Sheet and 8.412/t for Other Seamless Tubes was opened.


And finally, the latest situation in Turkey-EU steel quotas,

1,554/t for Railway Materials,

14.905/t for Large welded tubes,

15,689/t for Organic Coated Sheets, which is in a slow course at the beginning of the second quarter,

20,791/t for Stainless HR Quarto Sheet, which fills up fast at the beginning of the second quarter,

38.012/t for Other Welved Pipes,

51,291/t for Non Alloy Wire,

94.233/t for Rebar,

98.208/t forHollow Sections,

105.789/t for Merchant Bars and Light Sections,

117.510/t for Wire Rod,

Finally, a quota of 469,183/t was announced for HRC, which has the highest quota amount.
