The Russian rebar market is sinking deeper and deeper into the crisis.  Scrap continues to slowly become cheaper, although for plants this effect is negated by the constant increase in logistics costs. Steelmakers, concerned about capacity utilization, reduce selling prices, while at the same time quotations on the spot are falling lower and lower.

Görselde, 2024 başından bu yana Amerikan Doları-USD karşısında dünyanın önde gelen çelik üreticisi ülkelerin para birimlerinin değişimlerini paylaştım.

USD, TRY karşısında %16 değer kazanırken, bize en yakın iki ülke; Meksika ve Brazilya para birimleri karşısında USD yaklaşık 13-14% değer kazanmış.
Daha sonraki sıralamada; USD, Rusya para birimi karşısında %7.5, Tayvan ve Japonya %5, G.Kore %4.2, Vietnam %1.5, EURO %0.5, değer kazanırken, İran para biriminde yatay seyretmiş.
USD, Çin Yuan 'ı karşısında % -0.6 değer kaybetmiş.

Sonuç itibari ile diğer ülke para birimlerine göre daha fazla değer kaybeden TRY sayesinde fabrikaların ihracat yapabilme gücü artıyor.

Bu gidişle yılın son çeyreğinde de aylık bazda 3 milyon tonun üzerinde ham çelik üretimi ile yıllık bazda yüksek bir üretim yapmış olacak. Belki 2022 'deki yıllık rekor (39.9 milyon ton) kırılamayacak ama 2022 den sonraki en yüksek üretim yılı bu sene olabilir. 2024 yılı için beklentim 37-37.5 milyon ton ham çelik üretimi.
