Norwegian aluminum company Hydro has started construction on a new aluminum processing plant in Szekesfehervar, Hungary.
The plant will produce advanced pressing alloys used in the premium automotive segment. The total investment is expected to be around 88 million euros. According to the latest reports, the facility, which has an annual capacity of 90,000 tons, is expected to start production in the first quarter of 2024.
