The CEEGS Project was created to integrate renewable energy storage, CO2 storage and geothermal heat extraction seamlessly, paving the way for a sustainable future.
Renewable Energy Storage: CEEGS enables the storage of renewable energy by utilizing the power of the trans-critical CO2 cycle. The system uses the latest technology, maximizing efficiency and minimizing environmental impact.
CO2 Storage: Addressing the issue of carbon emissions, CEEGS offers a solution to store CO2 within geological formations. This step towards carbon neutrality ensures a cleaner and greener planet for future generations.
Geothermal Heat Extraction: CEEGS taps into the planet's natural heat reservoirs to extract geothermal energy, utilizing this abundant resource to not only reduce dependence on traditional energy sources, but also promote sustainable practices.
As with the ENGIE project, the CEEGS project was coordinated by Yonca Yıldırım Çörtenlioğlu, Board Member of the Association of Mining Geologists.
