Mexico has officially initiated a second sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) measures imposed on seamless steel pipes originating from China. This decision follows an application submitted by Mexican producer Tubos de Acero de Mexico, S.A. (TAMSA) on December 22, 2023.
The review will specifically focus on products with a nominal outside diameter ranging from 60.3 mm to less than 114.3 mm, falling under the Tarifa de la Ley de los Impuestos Generales de Importación y Exportación (TIGIE). The designated review period is set from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023, with the analysis period spanning from October 1, 2018, to September 30, 2023.
The existing AD measures will remain in effect throughout the review period. Additionally, the review encompasses an independent interim investigation that will assess the subject products in further detail.
