Kazakhstan's scrap exports to Russia increased

In July 2023, the supply of scrap by rail from Kazakhstan to Russia amounted to 52.6 thousand tons. This is a decrease of 9% compared to the previous month, however, in an annual comparison, it increased by 1.6%.

In total, for the period from January to July, import volumes reached 273.5 thousand tons, which is 16% lower than last year.
