China's leading pipe manufacturer Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes met with the Kazakhstan government for pipe and fittings production projects.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Saparbekov held a meeting with Gao Jinuo, Deputy General Director for International Projects of Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes, the largest state-owned company in the production of pipes and fittings in the People's Republic of China.

Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes is a world leader in the production of pipes and fittings and plays an important role in the development and production of engineering solutions. With an annual output of 10 million tonnes of metal products and 8 million tonnes of steel, it produces 3 million tonnes of pipes with diameters ranging from 80 to 3000 mm. The company's products are widely used in the utilities sector, as well as in water, wastewater and heat supply systems.

During the meeting, the representative of Xinxing expressed readiness to co-operate with the Republic of Kazakhstan in the implementation of innovative projects. Taking into account the importance of modernisation of engineering networks and the need to reduce wear and abrasion of infrastructure, the ministry is ready for broad cooperation with Xinxing for the successful implementation of effective projects.
