Kametstal expands export product range

The Metallurgical Plant Kametstal, part of Metinvest, has successfully expanded its product range by obtaining international authorisation for B500B grade rebar.

Kametstal expands export product range

The certification process for B500B class 8 to 32 mm diameter rebar was successfully completed and the plant received the certificate of conformity number 020-UWB-3057/W. This certificate makes it possible to supply the products to Poland.

The certificate confirms that the reinforcing steel complies with two national technical assessments issued by the Polish Institute of Construction Technology and the Polish Research Institute for Roads and Bridges. These certificates will be valid until 2028.

Obtaining the international certification is the result of the significant work of the company's specialists, the plant said. Product samples were sent to Poland for testing by the testing and certification organisation ‘ZETOM’. On the basis of these tests, national technical assessments were carried out, which formed the basis for the product certification carried out online.
