JFE Steel Corporation stated that it is collaborating with some Japanese shipping companies to supply green steel products. The steel products in question will be used in the construction of large cargo ships.
Japanese collaborators include NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers, MOL Drybulk, Toko Kajun Kaisha, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Kawasaki Kinkai Kisen Kaisha, Daiichi Chuo Kisen Kaisha, Daiichi Chuo Kinkai Kaisha, Eastern Car Liner. This cooperation will also help reduce global carbon emissions.
